Great article Barry that brings back fun memories! I met a mask maker in New Orleans in the 70s when I was selling trees down that way. She made masks out of felt in a little open front shop. I had a wonderful star and a bat mask that I enjoyed for years! I also enjoyed their hospitality and stayed with them often.
